Our People

Lauren Nuebling

Law Clerk

Lauren Nuebling is a Tampa Bay native and a proud first-generation Floridian. She began her career with Huber Law Group at just 18 years old, joining the firm as an intern shortly after graduating from high school. Over the past three years, she has grown into her current role as a Law Clerk, where she primarily works on the firm’s real estate closings and supports clients throughout title closings and the transaction process.

In addition to her work at The Legal Loft, Lauren is pursuing her Associate’s degree at Hillsborough Community College through the VUSE program and plans to continue her education at the University of South Florida to earn her Bachelor’s degree.

Before entering the legal field, Lauren spent many years immersed in the equine industry. Beginning at age 14, she operated a small lesson program, teaching young riders, helping students find their ideal equine partners, and coaching them in competition. While training and competing with her own horse, she developed strong leadership, organizational, and client-service skills. Following her horse’s retirement, Lauren transitioned into managing Foxbrook Stables, a role she held until last year.

Outside the office, Lauren enjoys caring for her “miniature zoo” of animals, cooking and baking, focusing on her studies, and browsing real estate listings on Zillow. Her diverse experiences, dedication to learning, and passion for helping others make her a valued member of the Huber Law Group team.

Our Real Estate Law Practice provides clients across Florida and Illinois with clear, reliable guidance through every stage of property ownership and transactions. We assist individuals, investors, and businesses with residential and commercial closings, simple to complex contract drafting and review, title and boundary issues, landlord–tenant matters, financing and due diligence, dispute resolution and property development concerns.

Whether you are an avid real estate investor, purchasing your first home, negotiating a commercial lease, or resolving a boundary dispute, we offer the experience and attention needed to help you move forward with confidence.

Practice Area

Personal Injury

Personal injury law concerns claims arising when someone is injured and another party may be legally responsible. Each matter depends on its own facts and applicable law.

If you are injured in a vehicular accident, you may be able to get damages to cover medical bills, physical impairment, wages lost because you couldn’t work and damage to your property. Timely action is critical to ensure the preservation of evidence and prompt investigation.

Our Personal Injury Practice team has over 25 years of experience in personal injury practice and has represented many clients involved in a car crash, truck collision, motorcycle wreck, or bus incident. Each and every claim is handled with individual attention and steady guidance because your claim is as important to us as it is to you.

From aggressively negotiating with insurance companies, to working with medical professionals to document injuries building strong evidence of your claim, our goal is to help you recover damages, medical expenses, lost income property damage and the long-term we work to secure compensation for medical treatment, pain and suffering, and future needs. When necessary, our firm is also capable to represent you in court.

Rest assured that our experienced staff and attorney are personally accessible and will keep you up to date on the status of your claim. Personal injury manager, Sintra Mejia-Karas, and paralegal, Monica Lugo Duconge, are dedicated to maintaining an open line of communication with our clients as we have found that it is the best way to achieve the maximum compensation for our clients.

If you or a loved one were involved in a motor vehicle accident and want the attention and compassion you deserve, call us! We speak Spanish.

Title Services

Title services relate to reviewing and documenting property ownership in a real estate transaction. Questions may involve records, liens, transfers, and closing documents.

Our Title Services Practice offers comprehensive title searches, title insurance, and closing support for residential and commercial real estate transactions. We examine property records, address liens and ownership disputes, and ensure your closing is completed accurately and on schedule. With experienced professionals and a commitment to detail, we help buyers, sellers, lenders, and investors protect their property rights and complete transactions with confidence.

Practice Area

Assisted Living Facility Law

Our Assisted Living Facility Practice handles legal matters connected with operating, buying or selling assisted living facilities, also sometimes called senior care housing.

Legal matters in this area may include drafting agreements, negotiating business matters or disputes, processing real estate transfers, and addressing regulatory licensing and compliance requirements, such as assisting in preparation and submission of Change of Ownership (CHOW) applications with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

Assisted living facility laws ensure that facilities provide safe housing, supportive services, and respect for complying with state and federal regulations.

For lawyers, understanding assisted facility law means navigating a complex blend of legal implications involving healthcare, real estate and compliance statutes — properly navigating this legal landscape requires a niche expertise to ensure clients’ interests in their assets, property, resident agreements, maintain licensing requirements that can include facility licenses, health and safety inspections, staff qualifications, and resident care standards.

Practice Area

Equine Law

Equine law is a specialized legal field concerning the rights, responsibilities, and relationships tied to owning, caring for, and doing business with horses and equine activities – from contracts to liability to welfare obligations, we work to protect the equestrian community.

Located in Odessa/Keystone – the heart of Greater Tampa Bay’s “Horse Country” region, our Equine Law Practice offers comprehensive legal representation for individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the equestrian industry.

We frequently handle a wide range of equine legal issues, including:

  • Property & Title: Ownership, possession rights in horse sales, auctions, and boarding facilities
  • Contracts & Transactions: Drafting and reviewing horse purchase agreements, training contracts, and farm and barn real estate transactions.
  • Care & Welfare: Duties of care, humane treatment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Liability & Risk: Equine activity statutes, waivers and injury claims.
  • Insurance

Our legal team is experienced in transactions, litigation and advisory services for horse owners, trainers, boarding and training facilities, and equine businesses. We combine legal expertise with deep industry knowledge to provide strategies and solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the equestrian world.

Whether you are a hobbyist, professional, or equine business owner, we are committed to protecting your rights, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance in horse-related matters.

Our People

Angela Sanchez Yazvac Huber, Esq.

Attorney

A distinguished attorney and the founder of The Legal Loft & Studio and Huber Law Group PL, for Angela, practicing law isn’t just about drafting legal documents or arguing a position – it’s about helping real people navigate life’s biggest transactions and transitions. Dual licensed and actively practicing in both Florida and Illinois, and bilingual in English and Spanish, Angela brings experience and authenticity to her clients and seamlessly bridges the gap between work and community.

Angela understands that legal matters can feel overwhelming and sterile. That’s why she skips the dense legalese in favor of clear, honest conversations. Whether it’s guiding a new client through a complex legal situation or helping catapult a long-time client’s business into the future, Angela prides herself on being a relatable ally, a fierce advocate, and a sharp strategist who keeps her clients’ real-world goals at the center of everything she does.

Angela’s legal counsel is available online and through 3 office locations in Tampa, FL, Odessa, FL and Naperville, IL, offering legal advice on a broad range of specialties including corporate, real estate, car accident/personal injury, estate planning and probate, assisted living facility and equine law matters.

Her newest endeavor, The Legal Loft in Odessa, FL, reimagines the traditional law firm, stripping away intimidating mahogany walls and gatekeeper mentality and replacing them with a warm, open environment designed to invite the best of legal advocacy and community involvement.

Angela is also at the epicenter of the Studio at the Legal Loft which utilizes its designed space to host interactive workshops led by both the firm’s staff and external experts. She envisions the Studio will serve as a launchpad in the future for many enrichment and learning activities, showcases for local creators, and networking events for local entrepreneurs.

Angela’s legal career is built on a foundation of academic excellence and high-level corporate experience. She earned her Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, where she received the University of Michigan Achievement Award.

Before founding her own law firm in 2010, she served in major corporate roles, including Associate Director of Global Compliance for Mead Johnson Nutrition Company, Assistant General Counsel for Hub International insurance brokerage and Divine, Inc., technology incubator, and Senior Counsel for Platinum Entertainment, a music company and distributor.

Angela’s legal experience is also grounded in the rigors of large law firm practice, where she worked for many years in Chicago, Illinois, as an associate of the prestigious Sidley & Austin LLP and Katten, Muchin & Zavis.

While her educational background and 30+ years of legal experience has provided a strong foundation for success, Angela’s true education has come from standing alongside thousands of clients through their most challenging moments. She is known for her clear communication, thorough preparation, and ability to simplify complex legal issues, qualities consistently praised in client reviews.

Angela’s practice is guided by a genuine commitment to service. She is recognized for giving back to her community through donations of her time and talent, a core value reflected in her approach to every client relationship.

When she isn’t championing her clients’ interests, Angela is usually chasing a different kind of baseline as a competitive tennis player, thrifting vintage treasures, baking sourdough, or planning her next adventure. As a wife and proud mom of four, her favorite moments are spent with her family – whether she’s cheering from the sidelines of a sporting event or soaking up the Florida sunshine on the beach. No matter where her travels take her, she remains deeply rooted in the Midwest values that define both her personal life and her legal practice.
